Privacy Policy

We keep the minimum: your email, the tier you chose, your namespace, and your Stripe checkout session. Card details go straight to Stripe and we never see them. We never hold your signing key. We do not sell your data. Email privacy@barycenters.ai to see or delete what we hold.
1.Who is responsible
Barycenters Systems LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: privacy@barycenters.ai.
2.What we collect, and why
- Email address — to associate your reservation with you, send your receipt, and reach you at general availability. Provided by you at checkout.
- Chosen tier and namespace — the reservation itself: the plan you locked and the name you claimed.
- Stripe checkout session identifier — to confirm your payment and reconcile your reservation.
- A hash of your claim token — never the token itself. We keep only its cryptographic hash so a future charter can be verified against it.
- Basic request/security logs — standard operational logs (such as timestamps and rate-limit counters) used to keep the service available and to prevent abuse.
That is the whole of it. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use your data to train models.
3.What we never hold
Your steward private key is generated on your own device and never transmitted to us. We cannot see it, store it, or use it. Your full payment card details are handled by Stripe and are never sent to or stored by us.
4.Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. as our payment processor. Stripe collects and processes your card details under its own privacy policy. We receive only confirmation of payment and the limited reservation data above.
5.Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that make the product work — currently our payment processor (Stripe) and our hosting and database infrastructure — and only as needed to deliver the service, or where required by law.
6.Retention
We keep your reservation data for as long as your reservation is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations. When you ask us to delete it, we delete what we are not legally required to retain.
7.Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing privacy@barycenters.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those rights and you can exercise them through the same address.
8.Security
We hold as little as possible, keep signing authority off our servers by design, and protect what we do hold with standard access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but the architecture is built so that the most sensitive thing — the authority to act — never rests with us.
9.Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where appropriate, noted on the reservation page.
