Barycenters / The Pattern That Repeats
The pattern that repeats at every scale

Zoom in, zoom out — it's the same shape.

The substrate is fractal. The primitive that governs our own factory is the same one that governs a customer's deployment, and their customer's after that — with no scale where it breaks. Build your own barycenter and you don't become our user; you become your own Customer Zero.

Build Intuitively · Design Absolutely

Scale-invariant

The same primitive at every zoom.

"Authority at one point · autonomous execution · provable · fail-closed" isn't a policy that holds until the enterprise tier or the human-in-the-loop exception. It holds identically all the way down — because the one human exception is built into the primitive at every level, not bolted onto one.

Every box is the same box. The pattern does not thin out as it nests — that is what fractal means.

Two consequences

Why the recursion is load-bearing.

Customer Zero is a role, not a company

We're Customer Zero of the substrate. The moment a customer builds their own barycenter with our Instruments, they occupy that role for their domain — running on their own instance, proving their own primitive.

The strongest moat — we run on it, unfakeably — is not something we keep. Every adopter inherits it.

Proofs compose

A receipt at one level is verifiable by the level above it — a desk's receipts nest into the bank's audit, which nests into the regulator's. Verification is fractal: a proof zooms in and out without losing integrity.

This is why it reaches the interplanetary frontier: not a global authority, but self-similar nodes whose proofs interlock all the way up.
The name is the physics

Nested centers of authority — like nested centers of mass.

A barycenter is a system's center of mass, and in gravity they nest: the Moon orbits the Earth-Moon barycenter, which orbits the Sun's, which orbits the galaxy's. Every system has exactly one, and they stack without end. We built the same topology for machine action — nested centers of authority, one point per system, all the way up. The name was never decoration; we re-derived the physics for consequence.

The commons and the moat both compound fractally.

Because every node is a place others adopt from, the commons can only grow — self-similar and self-propagating. Because every level re-instantiates all six moats, defensibility compounds as the pattern spreads. It isn't a business you defend at one wall; it's a pattern that re-arms itself at every scale it reaches. That is the deepest reason it's inevitable — deeper than any single moat.
